Brewpot water level sensor

Working on a new addition to the homebrewing setup. I want to be able to detect water/beer levels in the pot. This circuit will read multiple probes to detect which ones are in water and report the status back to the raspberry pi over the usb serial connection.

I started with a simple circuit I found online, then added my own twist. Had to relearn eagle cad, then sent the eagle project file to Oshpark to get some PCB's made.

Final PCB assembled(mostly)

Next step will be to get my 3D printer working so I can print the following enclosure that I drew up in Fusion 360.

Shed finished!!

Last post on the shed. Staining is 99% done, doors finished, trim is mostly finished. But its usable and just waiting on the ATV to be fixed before it moves into it's new home.

Farmhouse table

Recently finished up a farmhouse table for my girlfriends new apartment. It's made from Douglas fir and pine wood purchased at the local home depot. Wanted to go with a nice hardwood tabletop but that would have doubled the total price.

We used the plans from the following website. But substituted 4 2x10 boards for the tabletop instead of the concrete tabletop. Also shortened the table and bench to only be 5 ft long.

I believe the stain used was a "Kona" color:

Resin wood table

Started making a resin wood table. Started with a 1in wood slab, cut in half, and poured a epoxy resin with blue pigment around it. In a week or so will sand down and put a final clear coat on top.

Shed stain and trim

Lots of progress was made this christmas weekend.
- The roof plywood triangle pieces were cut and screwed on.
- Stain/sealer was applied to "most" of the plywood siding
- 1x4 trim was cut, painted, and nailed on the front of the shed
- made a plywood ramp for the entrance
Next step will be to finish staining, more trim work, and make the doors

Shed roof

2 weekend's later and the roof is up. The roof is made with 2x4 roof trusses spaced  24 in on center. Then 10ft 2x4 beams goi ng horizontally with the metal roof being screwed into those beams.
Next step is to put plywood siding on the roof sides and make doors.

Shed walls and siding

With the help of 2 friends, one Sunday is all it took to make all 4 walls, put them up straight, and screw on the plywood siding.  We started the roof but probably wont have that up for a week or two.
Last picture is all the metal roof material loaded up from home depot
